100% COAL FIRE CRAFTED
As one of the pioneering eateries that turned Oceanside’s "South O” into a culinary hotspot, The Privateer Marketplace and Wine Bar is independently owned, locally supported, and family operated. Touting the largest 100% coal-fired oven in North County, coal fire is the secret to their trademark Neapolitan-style pizzas, baked pastas, and much of their prepared-in-house ingredients.
FRESH INGREDIENTS
At the Privateer Marketplace, we take the ultimate care and pride in each of our menu items. Our gourmet appetizers, salads, soups, specialty dishes, pizza pies, and desserts are made from scratch with the freshest ingredients.
We use organic greens, spices, veggies and herbs grown in our local neighborhood at Cyclops Farms - by local farmer Luke Girling, Palmquist Elementary, South "O" Elementary, and Lincoln Middle School.

Executive Chef Samantha Parker's menu which fuses Mexican, Italian, and California Modern offers an array of burgers, appetizers, seasonal seafood dishes, sustainable specials, and desserts all made from scratch utilizing the freshest vegetables, spices, and herbs grown by neighborhood farms and school programs whenever possible.
